Hajj Flights from Bangalore start Oct 24
BANGALORE: The first Hajj flight will fly from Bangalore on Sunday, 24th October at 08-30 PM. The pilgrims for this flight are to report at the Hajj Camp on 23rd October between 01-30 to 04-00 PM according to Hajj Committee sources. Karnataka Hajj Committee Chairman, Muhammad Ghouse Basha said, “Totally 21 Hajj flights are scheduled to fly from Bangalore with around 7000 pilgrims. The last flight would be on 07th Nov at 11-50 PM.” He also said that, “Chief Minister Yeddyurappa will inaugurate this year’s Hajj Camp at Idgah Quddus Sahib here on 23rd October 2010 after Maghrib prayers.”
Hajj Flights from Mangalore start Oct 27
BANGALORE: The first Hajj flight bound to Madinah will fly from Mangalore on 27th October with 223 Hajj Pilgrims. Karnataka Hajj Committee Chairman, Muhammad Ghouse Basha said, “Totally four Hajj flights are scheduled to fly from Mangalore embarkation point to Madinah between 27th to 30th October. Each flight has a capacity of 220 pilgrims to be included from North Kanara, South Kanara, and Udupi districts.” The return flights will leave Jeddah and reach Mangalore directly. First return flight will arrive on 5th December.
